Collaborative Learning Environment
At the Khalil Gibran International Academy’s (KGIA), our mission is to develop, maintain, and graduate life-long learners who have a deep understanding of different cultural perspectives, a love of learning and a desire for excellence with integrity.Â
Since we began as a middle school in 2007, our school has grown tremendously. We are currently located in a beautifully renovated building in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, and since September 2015, we completed our transition to full High School status.Â
Despite our steady growth, we continue to be a small school—providing full academic and support services to our students, making sure we pay close attention to the developmental needs of a teenage population, and preparing everyone for college and career experiences in a global world.
